Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use dye-media.com — including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, rely on captions, or need to magnify the page.
Our standard
We build and maintain this site to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice points to under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we've done
- A “skip to content” link on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Proper landmark regions and a single, logical heading order on every page.
- Text alternatives for every meaningful image; decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with real labels, grouped questions in labelled fieldsets, and autofill support.
- Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 minimum for body text.
- Reduced-motion support for anyone who has that preference set in their operating system.
Where we know we fall short
Accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time project. We review this site regularly and we are still improving a few areas — among them the size of some small label text and the accessible naming of a handful of decorative animations. Third-party embeds we do not control may not meet the same standard.
